Who is responsible for your data
This website is run by Hornchurch & Upminster Driveways. Our address is Corbets Tey Road, Upminster, RM14 2BB. We are the data controller for any personal information collected through this site.
What we collect and how
The quote form asks for your name, phone number, email address and the type of work you are interested in, plus anything you choose to add in the message box. We also record which page the form was sent from so we know what you were reading. If you phone or email us instead, we keep whatever you tell us in that conversation, including your address once a site visit is booked.
The site does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, which processes the entry only to send that email. If you click to load a Google map on a location page, Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy - the map does not load until you ask for it.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and invoice the work. The legal basis for that is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and then performing the contract. Where we keep records after a job has finished, for guarantees, tax and insurance, the basis is our legitimate interests and our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing. We share them only where the job needs it, for example with a skip hire company for a delivery address or a materials supplier for a direct drop, and with our accountant and insurers where required. Web3Forms and our email provider process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted within twelve months. Records of completed work are kept for six years to cover the guarantee, tax and insurance, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how we are using it or ask us to restrict its use. Email [email protected] or write to the address above and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
